Coaching

Approach

The working world is….a lot! I take a practical, solutions-oriented approach to leadership coaching, drawing on my 20+ years of experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Using evidence-based solutions, I partner with clients to move from what feels good to what works. Pulling from strengths-based management and up to date literature in leadership, feedback and behavioral science, clients report high-value sessions with immediately actionable take-aways.

EXPERIENCE

As a COO, CPO and consultant, I bring a strong “compared to what” lens drawing on experience in many different fields and working with many different types of professionals from HR leads to CEO’s, Founders, Public Defenders and Executive Directors. I’ve scaled organizations from 20-1000 and 2-14 global cities and have dealt with people and operational issues in high-stakes, high-change environments. Previous coaching clients worked at organizations including New Mexico Public Defenders, GetThrough, The Living Room, NextGen America, and the City of San Jose.

TESTIMONIALS

When I interviewed several different coaches, Rachel stood out immediately. She has worked closely with our Chief, including completing a 360 evaluation for him, which he’s found really valuable. Both my counterpart and I have been meeting with Rachel too, and I can honestly say it’s been a great experience. She’s helped us strengthen our leadership and people skills, and it's been a pleasure working with her.

Rachel is just the best, she's the perfect combination of thoughtful and patient, and also decisive and goal oriented. She is able to draw from her considerable experience to help us through every situation that we may encounter as we grow. She's also just a really fun, cool, interesting person.
